At 5-1/2 feet, this Buddha is in the posture of dignity and is a peaceful manifestation of Guru Rinpoche. He is considered to be the "second Buddha" of our time. Guru Rinpoche was responsible for the promulgation of the Vajrayana teachings and the establishment of the first Buddhist monastery in Tibet, of very special regard to Tibet and the Tibetan people.
